Waite Phillips Elementary School is a culturally diverse community. The staff at Phillips is noted for their commitment to the success of children. Our curriculum is standards-based focusing on inquiry activities, using brain friendly strategies for student learning. Our school is named after the famous Tulsa oilman, Waite Phillips, who donated Villa Philbrook to the citizens of Tulsa. This estate became the city's first art museum, and is known today as The Philbrook Museum.
